Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission ~ at no extra cost to you.
What that means in practice
- We participate in affiliate programs run by retailers and affiliate networks. When our content links to a product, that link may carry a referral code.
- Commissions never change the price you pay. The retailer pays us a percentage of the sale for the referral.
- Affiliate relationships do not decide our recommendations. Products are shortlisted on merit; if something isn’t worth your money, we say so or we don’t feature it.
How we mark affiliate content
Pages that contain affiliate links carry a clear disclosure near the top of the page, before the first affiliate link ~ not buried in a footer. Outbound affiliate links are also marked for search engines with rel="sponsored".
Prices and availability
Prices, discounts, and availability shown by retailers can change at any time. Where we display price information it comes from the retailer’s own data feed with a timestamp; when in doubt, the price on the retailer’s site is the one that counts.
